GoodYear

In 1839 Charles Goodyear is credited with inventing the process of "vulcanisation" which is used to cure rubber. The tyre company was formed in 1898 and the name “Goodyear” was given to it in honour of this historical scientific achievement.  As well as being one of the big three global brands, Goodyear is the biggest in North America. Australian manufacturing started in the post second world war era, and has continued ever since.

Many local and imported car brands use Goodyear original equipment tyres.  The range includes Eagle F1, NCT 5, Ducaro GA for cars and the Wrangler range for all terrain vehicles.

Wrangler HP All Weather

Wrangler HP All Weather – performance for your 4WD

As it’s name implies, the Wrangler HP All Weather is designed to give excellent performance in all weather conditions.  The advanced silica tread compound is engineered using high tech polymers, giving superior braking performance in wet conditions.  In addition to this, Goodyear has incorporated their SmartTRED Weather Reactive Technology which ensures the tyre retains optimum road surface contact during wet weather.

The deep tread grooves give excellent protection against aquaplaning, thanks to its effective water dispersion properties.  Solid shoulder blocks and notches give stability during sharp braking and improve handling in off-road conditions.  The tread pattern is optimised to reduce road noise, to ensure that you have a safe and comfortable ride.
