Wet and dry with the Optimo K406

Hankook's Optimo K406 tyre is a high performance tyre engineered to deliver superior wet and dry handling. Under wet conditions, the tyre delivers maximum grip and it also gives excellent handling on dry road surfaces. The tyre features three straight grooves which are designed to give quick water dispersion on wet road surfaces, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning.

Turbinated sub-grooves also enhance wet weather handling as they offer improved lateral drainage. Hankook has designed the Optimo K406 tyre to have a large footprint, which ensures there is more rubber contacting the road surface, giving better grip. The Optimo K406 does not compromise on ride comfort, thanks to its unique construction that minimises road noise.
