Pirelli P600 - safety and performance

The Pirelli P600 tyre is the choice for many prestigious car manufacturers.  The tyre has been developed with the Pirelli Active Safety System (PASS) technology which enhances the existing safety systems found on modern day cars.  The PASS technology otpimises the 'footprint' which changes in response to differing road surfaces and operating temperatures.

The P600 tyre also delivers excellent handling under all conditions, with the tread designed to give optimal grip on wet road surfaces.  Noise levels are also reduced to give a quiet and comfortable ride.

The P600™ enhances the capability of existing safety systems on modern cars, through improving the performance of the “footprint”, actively responding to changing road surfaces and variable operating temperatures.

High level of grip in acceleration, cornering and braking, even in very wet conditions. In addition, satisfying the demanding needs of today’s car manufacturers, much improved levels of plastic and acoustic comfort and a notable contribution to reduced fuel consumption. The new point of reference for modern performance tyres.

Tread pattern

“New wave” tread design which incorporates an almost continuous tread block
running from the centre to the shoulder of the tyre, separated by elliptical water clearing
channels running across the tread area.
