Have just fitted atr Scorpions to my 98 Grand Cherokee and what a difference. The previous Goodyear Wrangler AT's were not even fully worn(tread indicators untouched..) and were very deadly in the wet or on bitumen. These scorpions stick like the proverbial and still have a moderately aggresive tread pattern for the scrub. Condidering most of us do 90% of our travels on road its pretty important to have that traction. You can tell me that Coopers will last 90000km or Mickey Thompsons have more mud traction in extreme conditions but if they don't grip when it matters on road, they have no place on my vehicle. Leave them to the tour operators...Pirelli makes the best tyres along with Michelin and Porsche,Lamborghini,Ferrari etc cant all be wrong. |

Good all-round tyre. Great in wet. Needed around 2,000ks to be run-in. |
